Rangeley Girls and Mt. Abram Boys take the lead
The 2022 MVC Alpine Championships began today with the giant slalom competition at Black Mtn. On the girls side, Jaden Boulanger of Mtn Valley is the 2022 MVC Giant Slalom champion. Her winning combined time was 1:56.29. Amelia Stokes of Rangeley was second (1:59.78) and Breezy Quimb also of Rangeley was third (2:01.93). On the boys side, Charlie Pye of Mt. Abram is the 2022 MVC Giant Slalom champion. His winning combined time was 2:00.09. Joel Tardiff of Mtn Valley was second (2:00.39) and Daxxtyn Williams of Rangeley was third (2:09.54). The Rangeley girls and the Mt. Abram boys take the lead after day 1. The MVC Alpine Championships continue on Saturday with the slalom competition at Titcomb Mtn. RESULTS | PHOTO GALLERY
