The 2022 MVC Nordic Championships began today at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center with challenging waxing conditions. On the girls side, Ruth
White of Orono is the 2022 MVC Classical champion. Her winning time was 20:37, more than three minutes ahead of second place. Emily Kidd of Mt Abram was second and Autumn Pulk also of Mt Abram was third. On the boys side, Abrahm Geissinger of Spruce Mtn is the 2022 MVC Classical champion. His winning time was 17:15. Alex Hemingway of Mt Abram was second (by just 2 seconds) and Kyle McClellen of Orono was third. The Orono girls and the Mt Abram boys take the lead after day 1. The MVC Nordic Championships conclude on Satureay at Titcomb Mtn with the freestyle pursuit. RESULTS
