Windham girls and Falmouth boys win SMAA Alpine Title
The 2022 SMAA Alpine Championships were held on Friday at Shawnee Peak. In the giant slalom competition, Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood is the 2022 SMAA giant slalom champion. Her winning combined time was 1:24.76. Sarah Hare of Windham was second (1:25.06) and Lydia Phipps of Marshwood was third (1:26.05). On the boys side, Andrew Christie of Falmouth is the 2022 SMAA giant slalom champion. His winning combined time was 1:21.93. Quinn Maguire of Marshwood was second (1:22.92) and Reis Stamaris of Cheverus was third (1:23.29). In the slalom competition, Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood is also the 2022 SMAA slalom champion. Her winning combined time was 1:39.47. Sarah Hare of Windham was second (1:43.20) and Nela Nemcova of Windham was third (1:45.63). For the boys slalom, Andrew Christie of Falmouth is also the 2022 SMAA slalom champion. His winning combined slalom time was 1:33.55. Quinn Maguire of Marshwood was second (1:36.17) and Porter Beaule of Falmouth was third (1:38.72). The Windham girls and the Falmouth boys are the 2022 SMAA Alpine team champions. RESULTS
