Yarmouth girls and Cape Elizabeth boys win Class B Alpine Title
The 2022 MPA Class B Skiing Championships concluded today with the slalom competition at Saddleback Mtn. Due to weather and snow conditions, only one run was contested. On the girls side, Dana Schwartz of Cape Elizabeth is the 2022 MPA Class B Slalom State Champion. Her winning time was 40.20. Brooke Boone of Yarmouth was second (44.06) and Olivia Rand of John Bapst was third (44.37). On the boys side, Tiernan Lathrop of Cape Elizabeth is the 2022 MPA Class B Slalom State Champion. His winning time was 35.53. Sam Roy of Wisdom was second (36.39) and Quinn Breen of John Bapst was third (36.72). The Yarmouth girls and the Cape Elizabeth boys are the 2022 MPA Class B Alpine team state chapions. Yarmouth finished with 1,483 points; the Cape Elizabeth girls were second with 1,464 points Cape Elizabeth boys finished with 1,571 points; the Maranacook boys were second with 1,491 points. Also congratulations to the Yarmouth girls and boys teams for recieving the MPA Class B Sportsmanship Award. RESULTS
