The Pakulski slalom at Kents Hill is on for this coming Saturday, January 21st. Details are as follows:
1. Send run orders to Joshua Reynolds at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by Wednesday evening, 1/18.
2. Registration will start at 7:30.
3. Race entry fee is $20. Checks made out to Kents Hill School.
4. Coaches meeting if needed will be at 8:20 out on the deck. Otherwise:
a. Course inspection opens at 8:30, closes at 9:20.
b. Girls course is on the skier's right and boy's course on the skiers left.
c. We will run girls first run, boys first run, break for approximately 30 minutes (might be less) and run second runs in same order.
d. There should be a training course on the skier's right side slope.
e. We ask that all skiers stay off any jumps or park related items and ski under control particularly down near the rope tow access point.
f. A reminder to all that the tow is a rope tow and that all skiers should wear leather type work gloves for the day, not their normal soft leather skiing gloves/mittens as the rope will damage these type of gloves/mittens.
5. Most of you know that the base lodge is small, so please boot up at your car/bus. Feel free to then bring in a small bag as desired to contain things you might need for the day.
6. There will be the usual full concessions available in the base lodge.
