Ouellette and McCourt win 2023 KVAC Freestyle

Day 1 of the 2023 KVAC Nordic Championships were held today at Black Mtn in Rumford with the 5K freestyle mass start.  On the boys side, Logan Ouellette of Leavitt is the 2023 KVAC Freestyle champion.  His winning time was 12:37.2.  Henri McCourt of Mt Blue was second (12:41.6) and Orrin Slover of Edward Little was third (13:02.6).  On the girls side. Nora McCourt of Mt. Blue is the 2023 KVAC Freestyle champion.  Her winning time was 14:48.0.  Bridget Reusch of Mt Blue was second (14:59.9) and Maeve Woodruff of Brunswick was third (15:24.5).  The Mt Blue boys and girls take the lead after day 1.  Day 2 is on Saturday with the classical  pursuit at Titcomb Mtn.  RESULTS  |  RVG PHOTO GALLERY
