Here are the specifics for the Maranacook Ski Meister Slalom on Jan. 17th at Kents Hill Ski slope:

If a team has a ski meister competitor, they should designate that on their run order with an asterisk next to their name. Race entry fee is $14 per racer with any checks made out to: Kents Hill Ski Club
Race start time is 9:30.
There will be two separate courses for the boys and the girls.
The race will be run girls 1st run, boys 1st run, girls 2nd run, boys 2nd run
Awards for the slalom will be presented as soon as possible after the completion of the boys 2nd run
A reminder to all that the tow at Kents Hill is a rope tow and leather work type gloves should be worn instead of one’s normal soft leather alpine skiing gloves to avoid damage to the soft leather gloves.
Snow conditions permitting, there will be a practice course set for all athletes to the right of the rope tow.
There will be parking attendants to assist with buses, etc. Buses should unload at the ski lodge and then follow instructions to a remote parking designation.
If possible teams should attempt to get boots on in the bus as it is a tight fit in the lodge.
The usual yummy concessions will be available throughout the day.
Assuming there will be snow to hold the Maranacook Wave race at Maranacook, the ski meister awards for combined scores of the slalom and the wave race will be presented at Maranacook as soon as possible after the completion of the Wave race.
