From the MPA Ski Committee: We have been monitoring the storm that is forecasted to arrive in Maine this Sunday and it appears that travel on that day will be an issue and it is advised that schools look at alternative plans if you were planning on traveling on that day. The forecast does call for the storm to be winding down on Sunday evening and travel conditions should be improving later that night and early on Monday morning.
We have looked at postponing the meet to Tuesday/Wednesday but unfortunately there were not enough available rooms in the area on Tuesday night to accommodate all of the teams that are staying at the area hotels. However, there are enough rooms available on Saturday night for those teams that choose to travel on Saturday.
