From Maranacook Alpine coach Ronn Gifford: To all Class B and C alpine teams, can you please have your athletes check to see if they have their proper slalom skis. One of our girls found that her skis were missing and a similar pair were left behind. Her skis were Black Fischers, 140 with a J and P (her name is Janika Pakulski) written into the Fischer triangle insignia on the tips. There were a pair of Black Fischer SC’s left right next to where hers were (she has them) which are certainly very similar looking, but a bit longer (I think she told me 150 or 155). It appears a case of swapped skis. So please check and let me know if any of your girls have Janika’s skis and vice versa so we can arrange a swap. Thank you.
